PFAS was discovered during the 1930s. During the 1940s and well into the 70s, it became increasingly prevalent in manufacturing and was incorporated into everyday products. Recently, PFAS has been classified as an emerging contaminant which is defined as an environmental and human health hazard.
Trace has the resources to help wastewater treatment facilities and drinking water clients to meet their PFAS requirements. We are able to provide the full list of required compounds using a variety of methods such as EPA 537M, EPA 1633, EPA 533 and ASTM7979. Trace can provide third-party sample collection as needed.
